Warrandyte House draws it’s texture, materiality and form from the Australian landscape and agricultural building typologies. Essentially it’s a highly refined shed, anchored into the topmost contours of a steeply falling escarpment. The progression through the home is one of subtle steps and terraces, allowing the occupant to gently negotiate the level changes down to the lower garden beyond.
