ARU was a collaboration with Kirsten Thompson Architects
The spatial arrangement of Aru evokes a type of baroque enfilade. Diners enter into a public open space then proceed on deeper into the restaurant, past layers of veiled screens, gradually reaching the darker and more intimate areas beyond.
